Current Offerings

  • New Offering: Girls of Impact

Girls of Impact is a 7-week supportive virtual group specially created for teens girls who would benefit from experiential activities and reflective discussion that nurture an empowered sense of self. Together, we will draw inspiration from remarkable women who have boldly pursued their passions—reflecting, connecting, and applying those lessons to step forward in our own lives. Participants will be encouraged to take healthy risks and go out and take steps of impact.

Each girl will create her own personal impact profile, modeled after the women we study, and will be supported in sharing it with the group by the end of the workshop.

Created and facilitated by Emily Niemeyer, MA, LBA, BCBA, who specializes in selective mutism, social anxiety, and personal development in teens. This group is based on the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework.

    Starts February 21st.

  • Hangout

Hangout is a virtual group for kids with Selective Mutism, Social Anxiety, or other social skills needs. Our groups target social confidence, peer connection, and social skills development. We intentionally place children together by age, interests, and goals. Whole Child offers this group both virtually and in-person. Our in-person group meets quarterly for field trips, social gatherings, games and the like. Our virtual group meets online every other week and mimics a typical, peer gathering with activities, education and a combination of large group and small group work.

  • Dyads

Improve conversational comfort, fluency, or social problem solving in a practitioner facilitated and/or planned dyad that includes real-time coaching and promotes genuine skill development. Dyads are formed upon availability with an appropriate peer match OR peer mentor.

  • Small Group (In-person)

Whole Child offers an in-person small group for kids who would benefit from live support to develop and refine social skills, peer connection, and group collaboration. Hosted out of our Edina office, this group works on weekly projects and themes to promote and support the sharing of conversation, ideas, opinions, and the self with others & the community. Our current group is open to kids ages 10-14 yrs. Some exceptions can be made for the appropriate fit.
